CHARACTERISTICS

The Triple Lip RO. U-Cup is a development of the series 13 RO. U-Cup. Like the series 13 it has an asymmetrical section and an interference fit on the outside diameter.

It also has the additional feature of a third lip on the inside heel.

This extra lip offers the following benefits:

  • Improved stability of the seal within the groove.
  • Secondary sealing capability and protection of the primary lip.
  • Improved lubrication due to the lubrication pocket created between the primary and secondary lips.
  • The secondary lip's profile maintains boundary lubrication, allowing it to return to the system.
